The basis on which this website is provided and on which Teeth Whitening appointments are arranged and delivered.

About These Terms

These terms set out the basis on which this website is made available and on which Teeth Whitening appointments are arranged and delivered. By using this website you accept the terms relating to it. Terms relating to treatment apply once an appointment is arranged.

Where a specific commercial detail has not yet been finalised it appears below as a clearly marked placeholder rather than being invented. These terms are a working framework and should be reviewed by a suitably qualified adviser before publication.

Use of This Website

Information Is General

Everything on this website is provided for general information about Teeth Whitening. It does not constitute dental, medical or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for an assessment by a qualified dental professional who can examine your teeth. You should not rely on it as the sole basis for a decision about your oral health.

Accuracy

Reasonable care is taken to keep the information accurate and current. No warranty is given that it is complete, error-free or continuously available, and it may be changed or withdrawn at any time without notice.

Intellectual Property

The content, layout and design of this website belong to the operator of the site unless otherwise indicated. You may view and print pages for your own personal use. You may not reproduce, republish or distribute the content commercially without written permission.

External Links

Where this website links to another site, that link does not imply endorsement of its content. The operator of this site has no control over external websites and accepts no responsibility for their content, accuracy or availability.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use this website in any way that is unlawful, that could damage or impair it, or that could interfere with anyone else's use of it. Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its underlying systems is prohibited.

Availability

Every effort is made to keep the site available, but access may be suspended or restricted at any time for maintenance, technical reasons or circumstances outside reasonable control. No liability arises from the site being temporarily unavailable.

Terms Relating to Appointments

Cosmetic, Not Clinical

Teeth Whitening as offered here is a cosmetic service. It is not dental treatment, it does not treat decay, gum disease or any other condition, and it is not a substitute for regular examination by a registered dentist. You are responsible for maintaining your own dental care independently of any whitening appointment.

Suitability and Disclosure

A consultation is carried out before treatment to assess suitability. You are asked to disclose relevant information about your dental history, existing restorations, sensitivity, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and any relevant medication. Treatment may be declined or postponed where it would not be appropriate, and you will be told the reason. Proceeding depends on accurate disclosure, since an assessment can only be as reliable as the information it is based on.

Outcomes

A visible improvement measured against the shade recorded at the start of the session is what is undertaken, provided the aftercare guidance is followed. No specific number of shades is promised, because the achievable change depends on your starting shade, the type of staining and the condition of your enamel. Crowns, veneers and composite fillings do not respond to whitening agents and will not change shade.

Aftercare Responsibility

Aftercare guidance is provided verbally and in writing at the end of your appointment. Following it, in particular during the first forty-eight hours, is your responsibility and has a direct effect on how long your result lasts. Results that are affected by aftercare not being followed do not amount to a failure of the treatment.

Home Appointments

Where treatment is delivered at your address, you are asked to provide a suitable environment: a comfortable seat allowing you to recline, access to a power socket, access to a sink, and reasonable working space. Appointments may be rescheduled if the environment is unsuitable or unsafe for treatment to be carried out properly.

Booking, Payment and Cancellation

Terms and the total figure are confirmed in writing before a booking is treated as made. No charge is applied that has not been disclosed in advance. Cancellation and rescheduling terms, any deposit arrangements and accepted payment methods will be set out here once confirmed, and are shown as placeholders above rather than invented.

Liability, Complaints and Governing Law

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected by anything set out here.

Subject to that, no liability is accepted for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, for loss of profit or opportunity, or for outcomes arising from information that was not disclosed at consultation or from aftercare guidance not being followed.

Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the service, raise it as soon as possible. The shade readings recorded before and after treatment exist so that any discussion about the result can be grounded in a record rather than in competing recollections. Complaints are looked into properly rather than deflected.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The version in force for any appointment is the version confirmed to you in writing at the point of booking. Changes made after that do not apply retrospectively to an arrangement already made.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute arising in connection with them, unless the law applicable where you live provides otherwise.

Contact

Questions about these terms can be raised through the routes set out on the contact page. How personal information is handled is covered separately in the privacy policy.

These terms are provided as a working framework and do not constitute legal advice. They should be reviewed by a suitably qualified adviser, and all placeholder fields completed, before the site is published.
